I can't believe it!

I can't believe Caleb is already 2 months old. He is growing and changing so quickly! I tried weighing and measuring him the other day and I think he is 10 lbs 8 oz and 24 1/2 inches long. He is a tall little boy and already growing to big for some of his 0-3 month shirts. It's so sad. He is sleeping about 7 1/2 hours every night which is great for me! He loves his vibrating chair and gets so excited and sits and laughs and talks to it. Here is a video I took the other day, but of course he wasn't as excited as he was before I started recording. It's like they know we are trying to capture the moment :) (You might want to turn the volume on your computer down or off because I was drawing a bath)

Yesterday I was wrapping presents and had him on the couch changing his diaper and he reached back and grabbed this piece of wrapping paper.

I hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas!

Blessing day & Newborn pics

So yesterday we blessed Caleb. It was really nice and my whole family came out and Ben's parents came down. It was such an amazing experience and I am grateful for a husband who was worthy to give our little boy such a special blessing. Here is a picture of him in his little tux. Unfortunately we were running late to church so these were after church and he was pooped.

A girl in our ward is a photographer so we had her take pictures of Caleb. So far there isn't a link, but i am going to see if she can get me one so you can see all of them but for now here are a few of my favorite.

Last but not least here is a picture I got of him smiling.

Almost 6 weeks!

I can barely believe he is almost 6 weeks old. It has been so much fun getting to know our little guy. He smiled for the first time for Ben the other day and has been smiling ever since. I will keep trying to get a picture of it. We are so blessed to have such a great baby. He still sleeps pretty well at night and really only cries when he is hungry. He still hates to be alone and loves being held and talked to. Here are a few pictures of him.

He loves to lay his head on his arms

Caleb

A quick update. He is doing really well! He is almost back to his birthweight and is now 21 inches long. He is breastfeeding really well and almost sleeping through the night. The last 3 nights he has went to bed around midnight and not woken up to eat until between 6 and 7. We'll see how long it lasts :) We are having fun with him! Here are some pictures from the last couple weeks!

Caleb Is On His Way!!!!

Ok, so I know you all have been dying to see pictures of the nursery and get an update. Here are the pictures of the nursery. We still want to paint an orange and blue stripe at the top, just haven't gotten that done yet and we have ordered a hutch to put on top of the dresser, but it's on back order so hopefully we get it soon ;)

I went to the Dr. today and I am still between a 2 and 3, but with the range of due dates from the 18th-27th and my blood pressure a little high we are going to induce tomorrow! I can barely believe it. I go in at 6am to start the process and he will be here hopefully sometime tomorrow, if not then early Thursday morning. I will post pictures up as soon as I can. Wish me luck!

Fall Is Definitely Here

I love living in a place where there are 4 seasons. The leaves are starting to change colors and it is absolutely beautiful. Not so much fun when they fall and we have to rake them but I enjoy watching them change colors.

This weekend we had 15 people staying at our house. The Florida Gators were playing Arkansas and so Ben's brother came with his wife, her mom, and their 7 kids and his parents came and his sister from Utah. It was quite the packed house. I always thought I wanted a bunch of kids but this weekend may have changed my mind. I was so worn out by the time it was over. At the game it started out raining, but after half time the sun came out and it was much warmer. It was a lot of fun and Florida won which made it for an even more enjoyable weekend.

A couple weeks ago we painted our room and last weekend we got an early Christmas present for ourselves and got a new bedroom set. We needed one before the baby came because we only had one extra bed and we will have both our parents here when Caleb is born so we got it a little early. I love it!

Only 20 days left until baby Caleb is supposed to be here. I went to the Dr. last week and everything looks good. I go to the Dr. later this week and we'll see if i'm progressing at all. Hopefully not much longer. We are finishing his nursery this weekend and I will post pictures.

I've been tagged. . . twice

Before I get to my tag, just a quick update. I went to the Dr. yesterday and everything looks pretty good. I have to get another ultrasound next Tuesday because my stomach isn't quite measuring what it is supposed to be. My Dr. just thinks it's because my torso is so short and she isn't worried, just wants to make sure. Also, I went to the tour of the hospital tonight and it really sank in. In about 6 weeks Caleb will really be here. I'm anxious and nervous all at the same time!

So I am supposed to write 6 quirks about me. Since being pregnant I have many quirks, but i'll try to remember ones I always have :)

1. I can't stand dishes in my sink. I always have to have an empty sink.
2. I don't like the taste of toothpaste. Now don't be alarmed, I brush my teeth every day, but I am very picky on the flavor of toothpaste.
3. I love the Price is Right! I always eat my breakfast while watching it. Granted it's not as good as when Bob was on there, but Drew is getting better.
4. I always have to have a blanket on me when sleeping. Even if it is hot i can't stand to have nothing covering me. I guess it makes me feel more secure.
5. I can't go to sleep when it's silent. I have to put the tv sleep timer on so that there is a little noise.
6. I always have to have candles or oil burning.

I tag you all :)

Time for an update . . .

Ok so I know it has been way too long since I have updated. We've had a busy last month. First of all my parents, brothers, and niece Teaghan came out to Arkansas to visit in August from the 13th to 18th. We had a lot of fun at the lake wakeboarding and tubing, eating lots of food, playing rock band, and of course some shopping. My brothers finally got to see our dogs up close and personal. Second, I went out to AZ on the 21st for my baby shower and also for Teaghan's 2nd birthday. The baby shower was great! Marci, Kami, and Lindsey did an awesome job. It was so nice to see all of you that were able to make it and I appreciate all the gifts. I was so caught up in catching up with everyone that I forgot to take pictures, but click here to see the pictures Marci put on her blog. Thanks again guys for throwing it for me, everything was perfect. Next, we had Teaghan's birthday party. It was fun and she got lots of presents. It took her about 2 hours to open them all because she would open one and want to play with it and then would move on to the next. My brother Ryan bbq'd and it was delicious! Labor day weekend we spent most of the time at the lake and Ben finally was able to jump across the wake. He was very proud of himself and now wants to upgrade to a Malibu. Unfortunately for him the weather is getting cooler and he only has another couple weeks probably until it's too cold. Also, college football season started which is big in our house. Ben woke up singing "It's the most wonderful time of the year" Lucky for me the Gators have won the last 2 weeks. We also have started painting the nursery and I will put up pictures as soon as we have it all put together. Anyway, that is what we have been up to the last month. Next time I will have pictures :)

Look at him JUMP

We had a pretty eventful weekend.
First, we got our dogs back. They have spent the past few weeks at Ben's parents house enjoying the creek and property to roam. We had to shave them down because of all the burs they had in their fur. I'm sure they are loving it though with the warm weather.

Second, we put bamboo flooring in our living room. The carpet was disgusting probably because of our huge dogs. It turned out quite nicely!

Last, we spent yet another Saturday at the lake. It was nice and hot and the water was great. Not too many boats. And Ben landed his first jump!

Watch out Dad and boys, there is some stiff competition in the air for next week. He's been working all summer for this :)

Memory Bandwagon

I am jumping on the memory bandwagon post.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.
EVERYBODY PLAY!

The Wait Is Over

Okay, we finally went and bought a camera this weekend. Here are a belly shots I have been promising to you all. It had been a long day so not the greatest picture. This is at 25 weeks.

I went to the Dr. last week and all is well. She said everything looks great and on track. At the end of the month we get to do another ultrasound. I'm excited to see him now that he is a lot more developed.

Camera problems

This weekend we had a canoe trip with our ward. Let me tell ya, it was not an enjoyable weekend. The camping wasn't too bad, but it rained and then it rained almost the whole time we were canoing. Needless to say my camera got soaked and so I will have to postpone my belly shot until we go get another one. Sorry guys!

Wakeboarding 101

So, my loving husband was having a hard time wakeboarding. He could get up, but once he got up wasn't sure exactly what to do. So he thought with the help of a new wakeboard that was for beginners, he would be able to stay up. Well I don't know if it was all mental, but he did really well last weekend. I was so proud of him! Here is a little clip.

For those of you wanting a picture of my belly, I will have it this weekend along with an update!

The Verdict Is In

IT'S A BOY! Ben's wish came true and I am having a boy. We went to the Dr. on Friday and at first he had his legs crossed again, but he was nice and squirmy so she finally was able to tell. We are so excited!! His name will be Caleb Allen Fuller. Also, on Friday night when we were laying in bed, Ben was able to feel him kick. It was a very exciting day for us!

First Lake Trip

So the weather was finally good enough to go to the lake this weekend. Ben and I had been looking forward to it all week. Friday night we go to Walmart and get a tube and a rope, make sure all the life jackets are sprayed off and dry, and get everything ready to go. Saturday we get up and get snacks and water and head off to the lake, which is only 10 miles from our house! We get there and the boat won't start. The battery was totally dead. So we go to the marina where the guys give us something to charge the battery. Then all of a sudden it starts thundering and lightening. So we sit in the car and wait while the battery on the boat is charging. Finally the storm passes and we back the trailer up to put the boat in and it starts. Yay! Because of all the rain we have got this year, the lake is flooded and you all but have to drive your car into the water in order to get the boat off. But we did it and thought all our problems were over with. Well the boys wanted to tube so we blow up the tube and they get on it and we start to go and it rips at the seems ( I guess that's what we get for buying it at Walmart). So we go back to the marina and call our friends that are on their way to have them stop at a boat place and get a quality tube. Just as we are pulling up it starts pouring rain. We dock the boat and hang out at the marina for a little bit and our friends get there with the tube. Yay! The sun came out and the rest of the day was very enjoyable. We had fun tubing and wakeboarding and swimming. Ben got up wakeboarding 3 times. I was so proud of him. I somehow got burnt really bad on my arms and a little on my legs. I 'm not sure how only that part got burnt when I kept applying sunscreen. I don't know if it is because I am pregnant or not, but this hurts more than any other burn I have ever got and I have burnt way worse.

These pictures don't even do it justice. Hopefully it heals soon! I think we are going to try out luck this next weekend and hopefully it is much better!

Memorial Day Weekend

I know it has been a long time since I have updated, but we are alive and well. We had the opportunity to go to Utah this past weekend and meet up with my family and visit with a lot of my extended family. We got there on Thursday night and went to dinner for my Mom's birthday at Crown Burger (they have the best fry sauce) with some of my mom's family. Friday morning we went to the temple and I almost didn't get in because I had forgotten my recommend in my temple bag. Luckily I had my one without the barcode still and they took it. I was so relieved and happy. We spent the rest of the weekend visiting both our families and shopping. The weather was freezing and it rained on Monday, the one day we wanted sun so we could go walk around the cemetery. Oh well, it was nice to visit my sister's grave. It had been a long time. Then we come back to rain, of course, does it ever not rain in Arkansas? But at least it was in the 70's instead of the 50's. I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day Weekend! Here are some pictures of the weekend.

Baby's Heartbeat

Not only did we get to hear the baby's heartbeat yesterday, but we also got to see our baby. The Dr. did an ultrasound to get the baby's measurements. It was so fun and exciting and definitely made it more real to me. It's crazy how clear you can see the features of the baby. I could even see the lips. The Dr. tried to see what the gender was, but the little booger had it's legs crossed so we'll have to wait until the beginning of June. She said it had a nice strong healthy hearbeat and that its nice and active. The baby is actually measuring to be further along by like 10 days, but we are leaving the due date October 27.

It's Official!

It's official, I'm pregnant! I went to the doctor today and found out I am 14 weeks pregnant and my due date is on October 27th(my sisters birthday). We are so excited! I go next Thursday to get all the internal stuff done and to hear the baby's heartbeat. I can't wait! Ben really wants a boy, but I will be happy with either!

Secret Shames

So, I have been tagged by Chelsea about 3 secret shames that I have. I thought long and hard. I hope no one thinks less of me :) Here it goes

1. First, when I have nothing planned for the day and I am just sitting at home, I don't ever get out of my pajamas. Most of the time I don't shower either. I know it is gross, but I figure I'm not going anywhere.

2. Second, I love Hannah Montana. Ok, I'm not one of these crazy 14 year old girls that is obsesses with her. But I do love her tv show. I think it is hilarious and some good clean tv. Ben makes fun of me all the time, but I secretly think he is starting to enjoy it :)

3. Third and last, I hate shaving my legs. This one drives Ben crazy. In the winter I can go a couple weeks without shaving my legs as long as I wear a long skirt to church on Sunday. I see no point in shaving all the time in the winter here because 5 minutes after I shave the chills make the stubble grow. Plus it keeps my legs a little warmer.

So, now that you know my secret shames I tag Jessica, Ashley, and Heather.

1st Anniversary

Today is Ben and I's first anniversary. Sometimes it feels like just yesterday and sometimes it feels like forever ago. It has been a pretty fun and exciting year and we couldn't be happier! Here is what seems to be the anniversary tag I thought I would fill out.

What is his name? Benjamin Caleb Allen Fuller

How long have you been together? Including dating 1 1/2 years

How long did you date? 4 months (but I met him about a year before that when I was dating his roomate)

Who eats more? Definitely him, he always eats what I don't finish plus his.

Who said I love you first? He did...but i couldn't quite understand him the 1st night so he said it again the 2nd night and I said it back then.

Who is taller? He is

Who sings better? He definitely does.

Who is smarter? He is. . . it amazes me the random stuff he knows

Whose temper is worse? I think we are both pretty calm. I get irritated more though.

Who does the laundry? Unfortunately me

Who does the dishes? It depends on who cooks. Whoever cooks doesn't have to clean up, so I usually do them.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do...not sure why.

Who pays the bills? I do.

Who mows the lawn? He does.

Who cooks dinner? Actually both of us. Ben is the better cook though.

Who drives when you are together? Ben, he doesn't like my driving.

Who is more stubborn? Ben, I always have to give in first.

Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Definitely me, I think it's a guy thing to not be able to admit when they are wrong :)

Whose parents do you see the most? Ben's, but they only live about 1 1/2 hours away.

Who kissed who first? Ben kissed me first, but apparently I was giving him the look, whatever that is.

Who asked who out? Ben asked me, he took me to Tennessee to watch the Florida Gators play Vanderbilt in football along with his brother and sister-in-law and their 7 kids (which he failed to mention until we were already there)

Who proposed? Ben did. On New Year's Eve at midnight he made me get up to kiss at midnight and got down on his knee and said all these sweet things and proposed.

Who is more sensitive? That would be me by a long shot.

Who has more friends? He has more that lives close, but overall I think I do.

Who wears the pants in the family? Ben thinks he does, so we will just let him continue thinking that :)

I love you and can't wait to spend many more happy years together!

Opening Weekend!

So, this past weekend was a milestone for Northwest Arkansas. We finally got a professional sports team. It is the Northwest Arkansas Naturals. It is only AA baseball, but hey it's a start :) They are an affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, which for those of you who know who they are know that they aren't the best, but we were so excited that we decided to buy season tickets. I don't think either of us realized how many games there really are, but we are way pumped. They are front row down the third base line. The only down fall is that the tarp to cover the field when it rains is right in front so no reaching over the fence for foul balls. So opening night they went all out. Joe Nichols sang the national anthem (he is from this area)

They did a flyby and they brought the mascot, Strike the Sasquatch, to the field in a helicopter(he was supposed to skydive in, but the wind was blowing too hard).

We know the girl that is over promotions, so Ben got suckered in to racing an adult size tricycle from first base around the home plate to third base. He came in 2nd, but he still had a blast doing it. He is the one on the red trike in the blue jacket.

The cutest thing was this golden retriever that would take water to the umpires in a basket. I wasn't able to get the best picture, but here is one.

They only won one of the three games, but over all it was an exciting weekend for us!

Also, the weekend before was my birthday! Nothing too exciting, but my parents did bring me their boat! Ok not really, but they are letting us use it until it sells. It will still be a month or so until it is even remotely warm enough for me to get into the lake, but we are looking forward to it. We watched conference, went shopping and went to an Arkansas Razorback game. As you can see in the picture it was freezing. I think it was like 43 degrees, plus a wind chill. Needless to say we didn't stay the whole game, but it was a very enjoyable time.
