Ok, so I know it has been far too long since I have posted. So many of you probably heard about the ice storms in Arkansas, and yes we were in it. It was crazy. Like nothing I had ever seen before. We lost power sometime Monday night and woke up to layers of ice everywhere. At about 10am we hear this huge crashing sound and it was a tree branch falling on our house. We had many fall on our house but were lucky to only have damage to our satellite dish. It was so eery sounding whenever the branches fell.

Luckiy, we had a trip planned to Florida and we were to leave Wednesday(this really worked out because our power didn't come back on until Friday). This however, required us to drive in the ice because we were flying out of Tulsa which is normally about an hour and a half away, but this time it took about 3 hours. Luckily Caleb slept almost the entire time. I have really never been so scared in my life. We are driving next to semi's and sliding a little. I felt like I was on a video game where they always have some kind of level with ice. Ya it was crazy. Luckily we made it there safely. Caleb did great on the airplane and the pressure didn't seem to bother him at all. It was so nice to go from 17 degree weather to about 75 degree weather! It was much appreciated Mom and Dad! We had fun! We took Caleb to the beach for the 1st time, just walking around. It was a little windy so he didn't enjoy it too much! For the most part we just relaxed and hung out. Caleb got to meet his cousins Juliana and Ashley and Uncle Matthew and Aunt Erica. We really didn't want to leave, but had to come back to real life again. At least our electricity was on!!!
Valentines Day was different this year. It's not the same when you have a kid, but Ben made sure it was special! I kept teasing him that I wanted my bed to look like Meredith's bed that was on Grey's when Derek was going to propose. So to my suprise, he cooked dinner and I cleaned up and while I was cleaning up he decorated the bed with chocolates and had a bath running with rose petals in it. It was so sweet and romantic!
Well that is all for now and I promise to keep up with it. Here are some random pics of Caleb!

CHOMPED!!
Ben told me I had to dedicate this post to the Florida Gators because once again they are National Champions. This made for a very happy husband on Thursday! He says Caleb was his good luck charm!
We had a bunch of friends over for the game and had fun grilling and hanging out. Caleb was tuckered out before the game even started.
Caleb is growing like a weed. We are loving every minute of watching him. He is such a happy baby and loves to laugh and talk. He loves taking baths and being naked.
He absolutely loves his little bouncer and watching tv. He especially loves sports which makes daddy happy.
Before Caleb was born we found this little suit at Sams Club and he is finally big enough to wear it. He looks so handsome!
I can't believe he is already 2 1/2 months. Time really does fly!

I can't believe it!
I can't believe Caleb is already 2 months old. He is growing and changing so quickly! I tried weighing and measuring him the other day and I think he is 10 lbs 8 oz and 24 1/2 inches long. He is a tall little boy and already growing to big for some of his 0-3 month shirts. It's so sad. He is sleeping about 7 1/2 hours every night which is great for me! He loves his vibrating chair and gets so excited and sits and laughs and talks to it. Here is a video I took the other day, but of course he wasn't as excited as he was before I started recording. It's like they know we are trying to capture the moment :) (You might want to turn the volume on your computer down or off because I was drawing a bath)
Yesterday I was wrapping presents and had him on the couch changing his diaper and he reached back and grabbed this piece of wrapping paper.
I hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas!

Blessing day & Newborn pics
So yesterday we blessed Caleb. It was really nice and my whole family came out and Ben's parents came down. It was such an amazing experience and I am grateful for a husband who was worthy to give our little boy such a special blessing. Here is a picture of him in his little tux. Unfortunately we were running late to church so these were after church and he was pooped.
A girl in our ward is a photographer so we had her take pictures of Caleb. So far there isn't a link, but i am going to see if she can get me one so you can see all of them but for now here are a few of my favorite.

Last but not least here is a picture I got of him smiling.

Almost 6 weeks!
I can barely believe he is almost 6 weeks old. It has been so much fun getting to know our little guy. He smiled for the first time for Ben the other day and has been smiling ever since. I will keep trying to get a picture of it. We are so blessed to have such a great baby. He still sleeps pretty well at night and really only cries when he is hungry. He still hates to be alone and loves being held and talked to. Here are a few pictures of him.
He loves to lay his head on his arms

Caleb
A quick update. He is doing really well! He is almost back to his birthweight and is now 21 inches long. He is breastfeeding really well and almost sleeping through the night. The last 3 nights he has went to bed around midnight and not woken up to eat until between 6 and 7. We'll see how long it lasts :) We are having fun with him! Here are some pictures from the last couple weeks!
